Thank you for responding to our voluntary recall of your Hamilton Beach® or Proctor-Silex® toaster. The heating elements on your recalled toaster may stay on after the toaster pops up, creating a possible fire hazard if the toaster is covered or touches flammable material. You will receive a replacement toaster within two weeks.

Please discard your current toaster and take the following steps to ensure that no one else uses it:

  • STOP USING THE RECALLED TOASTER IMMEDIATELY!
  • Unplug the toaster.
  • Using a utility knife, wire cutters or heavy-duty scissors, carefully cut off the power cord as close to the body of the toaster as possible.
  • DISPOSE OF THE TOASTER IN ANY CONVENIENT, SAFE WAY - BUT DO NOT SELL IT OR GIVE IT AWAY!

Please do your part to prevent further use of a recalled product!
